Accounting Transactional Coordinator – Cairo – Egypt – Siemens AG

What are my responsibilities?
Responsible for Siemens Healthcare Egypt accounting function/transactions within the Hub and to Ensure that general accounting processes and function is in adherence to SIEMENS policies and IFRS for Egypt.
Ensure transactions are recorded in conformance with IFRS/ local laws and taxes, and adequate internal controls are in place and in line with Siemens International Chart of Accounts.
Monitor and manage key Balance Sheet positions for assigned entities ; e.g. GR IR, GIT, Unallocated AR, Advances to Suppliers, Retention, Advances from Customer and Retention- Drive Balance Sheet Review process for assigned country Divisions independently and provide remediation and solution.
Accounting: Debtors Valuation allowances: monthly provision calculation and processing.
Management reporting: Debtors/Ageing analysis and review of credit limits.
Interaction: Shared Services in India AR / CMD tool monitoring / FSS Master Data (Nexus – open new account / changes / AM); H&H Credit; Experian – credit report; – account defaults / litigation.
Foreign Incoming funds – Exchange Control reporting banking.
Fixed Asset controlling and GL account reconciliations.
Accounting journal: Human Resource Accounting; Pensions; Share Matching plans; Provisions & Adjustments / Accruals
Foreign Payments: Exchange Control submission to Standard Bank – documentation. Update of MITT payment tracking tool real time

What do I need to qualify for this job?
Qualified accountant from reputable University or college
Ideally CMA qualified but not a must
Excellent communications skills, fluent level in both English and Arabic
Previous experience working in accounting role from similar environment
Team work mind set, quality oriented and able to deliver
