Provide financial administrative services for the College of Engineering.
Use Banner to prepare requisitions and purchase orders for the college.
Compile, analyze and summarize financial data.
Prepare and assist in managing the college budget and monitor expenses.
Help conducting assessment surveys.
Prepare and manage routine financial correspondence.
Prepare documents and generate statistical and other reports.
Order, maintain and update college’s purchases.
Coordinate student and staff employment and budget.
Maintain and update, accurately and neatly, financial databases for the college.
Coordinate between the college and other university units.
Compile needed financial accreditation documents.
Monitor internal controls.
Streamline accounting functions and operations.
Participate in budgeting planning processes.
Other tasks as assigned by the Dean.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required
Minimum of three years of experience in administrative and financial services.
Excellent experience with and knowledge of MS Office Suite.
Expert-level skill in advanced Excel features.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
Attention to detail and accuracy are critical; ability to ensure completion and correctness.
Ability to work under pressure.
Excellent time management skills to manage multiple projects, as well as the flexibility to adjust as new projects are assigned.
Willing to engage in continuous learning.
Ability to work with diversified members.
Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals and practices.
