Job Title Senior Manager – Reporting MIS & Performance Management.Finance – Administration
Educational Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Commerce / Business studies with Professional qualification such as ACCA / ACA / CIMA / CPA / CWA having 10 years of post-qualification work experience in handling similar role in a reputed organization of which 05 years in a Managerial role . Master Degree in the related field will be an advantage.
Experience Required 10 years of post-qualification work experience in handling similar role in a reputed organization of which 05 years in a Managerial role .
Job Location Muscat, Sultanate of Oman
Participate in Strategic business review meetings as advised by CFO, coordinate on relevant inputs from department’s and present alternatives to senior Management.
Coordinate with Airline functional heads in defining the operating performance parameters in consultation with CFO
Evaluate business proposal from financial perspective and facilitate business processes.
To review and update the Accounting and Finance Manual on a periodic basis. Also to ensure that the activities of Finance department are in adherence to the Policies and Procedures.
Simplify and review internal operational procedures for better internal control and flow of activities.
To prepare financial projections for long term plans of the Company as advised by CFO / Board as advised.
To oversee financial and accounting functions of Management Reporting, Budgeting and Strategic finance sections of finance department
To prepare / consolidate Manpower, Capital and Operating budget for the Company.
Coordinate with Finance section to ensure timely completion of month-end activities and facilitate closure of books at month-ends / reporting periods.
Present Management performance report of Oman Air including other business nits.
Review and analyze financial information and present route and network profitability reports on periodically basis.
Prepare / review Balance sheet analysis at each reporting periods.
Prepare the sectional objectives for each year and to review the performance plans for each individual
Review job allocation on a periodical basis and ensure optimum utilization of resources.
Review / prepare the performance appraisal for all subordinates
Carry out preliminary screening of candidates and conduct interviews for finance positions and organize for final selection process in coordination with HR & CFO.
Learning on operational matters are shared with subordinates and quality of functioning of the department is improved,
Better resource utilization, optimization of work flow methods to ensure effective integration and alignment with other related areas of finance or related functions of the organization
