Ancillary Revenue Project Manager, Etihad Airways, UAE

As such, we are seeking talented and committed individuals, who can initiate and manage the end to end implementation of cross-functional strategic and transformational ancillary revenue projects for Etihad including planning, execution and closure according to deadlines and within budget. The role will involve the management of project resources, coordination of internal SME, third party vendors and the project team to ensure projects are delivered to plan and in accordance with governance and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Manage the development and delivery of new ancillary products, strategic projects and change initiatives within the organization, ensuring strategic alignment and enforcing project standards.
Manage cross-functional teams and multiple work streams on strategic implementations and help to develop and support strong partnerships within the project and across the business, avoiding silos by acting as the focal point for project execution and coordination.
Liaise with internal and external project stakeholders on an ongoing basis by setting and continually managing project expectations within project team and senior stakeholders.
Conduct revenue opportunity analysis for commercialization of new products to influence the prioritization of projects within the portfolio of ancillaries.
Develop and manage the entire lifecycle process of strategic projects, including the day to day operational aspects using a disciplined, process-oriented project management methodology.
Conduct engagement reviews and perform quality assurance procedures to ensure that proper project governance is enforced throughout the project.
Identify and quantify improvement opportunities aligned with the ancillary strategy by initiating project plans & supporting SMEs with concept evaluation.
Track and report benefits, risks and opportunities to maximize value up to Board level, as required.

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field required
Project Management Certification (eg: PMP, Prince 2) highly valued
+5 years of strategic project management experience, ideally within an airline and/or strategic consultancy experience at board and/or senior executive level.
Expertise in one or more key practice areas such as project management; financial analysis, strategic business planning and performance management; product design and management; corporate governance design.
Excellent client relationship skills and experience in working in cross cultural teams.
Strong knowledge of hospitality/aviation industry required.
