Equipment Packing Team Leader – Doha – Qatar Airways

Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC) – An Award-winning catering company, provides exclusive catering services to Qatar Airways and other airlines that service Hamad International Airport.

About Your Job:
You will contribute to the overall productivity of the Equipment Packing section by leading a team of junior team members and agency employees. You will be responsible for the preparation of foreign airlines, VIP flights, crew trainings, etc. You will also generate considerable amount of documentation such as shift report, check sheets, breakage record, accident/ incident report.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you must have at least high school qualification (e.g. O level, Year 10, min. compulsory education and minimum 5 years of job- related experience. You should also have basic knowledge of MS Office and email, professional knowledge of all packing plans, different types of onboard services, and latest updates to pack equipment and menu cards of all classes for over 200 flights. Moreover, you should have in- depth knowledge of Equipment Processing, knowledge of galley loading plans and packing plans of various wide body aircrafts, safety, security, food safety, and manual handling trainings. It is preferred that you have working knowledge of airline catering web portal to down loading galley loading plans, instructions, etc as well as as operating knowledge of automated equipment transport systems like cart transport system, bin handling system, etc.
