Maintain, identify and develop partnerships with commercially viable airlines to enhance the Etihad network with incremental capacity on existing routes, capacity access to new routes, increased volume contribution and load factor on existing capacity, with reduced overall cost.
You will take great pride in negotiating and implementing new commercial agreements in the form of interline, block space agreements and joint freighter operations to deliver the Etihad partnerships strategy and revenue target.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferably business or transport management related
5 years job related experience or 10 years in commercial aviation preferably air cargo related
Airline commercial experience, Cargo preferred but not essential.
Interline experience and strong influencing/negotiation experience with airline partnerships
Management experience leading a team of function reports.
Lead the partnerships and alliances team to deliver the partnerships strategy and revenue target. Responsible for the end to end delivery of all new airline partnerships from opportunity identification, negotiation and contractual agreement, implementation and performance management.
Ensure the partnerships and alliances team operate in compliance with internal audit, finance and key stakeholder governance requirements. Ensure the team is fully aware of and comply with ATI restrictions.
Work closely with internal stakeholders including commercial team and revenue management to implement new interline agreements to generate incremental revenue either from access to additional capacity or incremental volume feed onto Etihad capacity.
Negotiate and implement service level agreements with partner capacity to deliver high service level consistency and performance manage partner service delivery through regular reviews.
Utilise business intelligence tools such as PowerBI, market data and scheduling applications to identify opportunities for incremental partnership revenue. Monitor and anticipate economic and competitor changes that will impact demand and implement strategies to maximize revenue opportunities.
Track and monitor interline agreement revenue performance and conduct regular interline agreement review and renewals to ensure optimum portfolio of interline agreements
Work closely with revenue accounts to ensure interline billing and revenue reporting is at all times accurate and any problems are resolved quickly.
