About Your Job:
The Senior Direct Marketing Officer is in charge of managing and executing parts of the airline’s global online marketing programme. The key objective of this role is to be direct response to online sales and self-service transactions to ensure the overall E-commerce goals are being met.
On the tactical front, you will be managing high-visibility online marketing campaigns reaching out to millions of customers every day, ensuring relevance, engagement, retention and best-in-class servicing. You will be liaising with the loyalty programme and brand and product communication teams to ensure an integrated campaing approach across all customer segments. You will manage daily analysis, reporting and optimisation of all online advertising activities. Support the Manager E-Marketing in sourcing and managing online media partners and agencies.
On the strategic front, you will help devising and executing the airline’s tactical marketing strategy to drive transactions (sales & services) and to strengthen the brand positioning. You will write business plans to run sales and online acquisition campaigns, identify, acquire and on-board new technologies, build automations and create processes to improve coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

About You:
You are a data-driven marketer experienced in identifying customer segments and developing solutions and marketing campaigns to reach out to these segments in an online marketing agency or e-commerce department in a B2C environment. You must have excellent E-Commerce business acumen, strong analytical and database management skills.
To be successful for this role, you must have the following requirements:
Bachelor degree in marketing, Ecommerce, IT or relevant field.
5+ years of work experience
Proven experience working with industry tools like Email Service Providers (working knowledge of Responsys is a definite advantage)
Experience with web-analytics (ideally Omniture Sitecatalyst or Google Analytics), CRM (MS Dynamics) and marketing automation platforms.
Excellent written communication skills.
Experience in marketing copy writing
Experience in requirements-gathering and documentation for technical projects
Proficiency in using MS Excel and Access and working with very large databases.
