Activities and Scheduling Specialist – Alfaisal University , Saudi Arabia , Jaddah

Job Summary
To help with academic advising, student mentorship, scheduling, and to support the college with day to day operational activities of the college.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Support the college in its daily operations and activities.
Liaise with activities related units, including Student Affairs, Facilities, IT and MC.
Generate and oversee the College’s activity plan on a yearly basis.
Draw an activity plan for each academic year.
Coordinate social events with the University Social Affairs Committee.
Coordinate college’s Newsletter/Magazine.
Oversee the College electronic presence, including the website.
Oversee capstone-related logistics, e.g., filing, purchases, etc.
Arrange for the Capstone Engineering Design Day event.
Coordinate with Student Affairs on any student recruitment and orientation plans/events.
Maintain good records of communications and other paperwork.
Help with the training and mentorship of the engineering students.
Lead the College of Engineering’s scheduling and support academic advising efforts in coordination with the Alfaisal University’s departments.
Develop relationships with the community, organizations, and institutions.
Carry out activities-related tasks assigned by the Dean.

BS degree
Excellent communication skills
Good work experience in needed areas

Professional Certification
BS holder in Engineering, Computer Science, English literature
