Responsible for enrolling and maintaining the visual displays in showrooms in Kuwait. Overlooking all the Instore VM team. Weekly store visits and check lists. Responsible to contribute to the profitability of the store with your merchandise team for handling, replenishment, and inventory control efforts.
VM STRATEGIES & INITIATIVES
Lead all project executions across all showrooms while maintaining high standards and brand guidelines.
Oversee and ensure brand consistency with visual merchandising team through partnership with the relevant Managers and the creation or implementation of seasonal visual guides, standards tools, hands-on training and store visits.
Communicate product strategies internally to gain buy-off, and effectively communicate to the field teams ensuring successful consistent execution across the chain
Ensure appropriate goals, feedback and coaching to field visual merchandiser and team.
Provide store support around key marketing and merchandising initiatives, ensure all signing, POP collateral, visual display, and plan-o-grams are implemented on time and correctly for new and existing stores.
Conduct the weekly visual checklist across showrooms.
You may be designing visual displays yourself, or executing the design decisions of another. In either case, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a compelling presentation of merchandise that will engage customers and help stimulate sales activity. You will be the store’s brand gatekeeper, ensuring that the image and style of the company is projected at all times.
You will help to train the store team about design concepts, visual display standards, and the proper maintenance of the overall visual display effort.
By providing on-the-job training, feedback, and recognition, you will motivate other members of the store team to actively support your visual merchandising efforts.
Manage all the VM team in stores, and all communication between office and store teams.
Manage the activities, goals, training and hiring of the visual merchandising team.
3 to 5+ years of experience in similar industry
Interpersonal skills to influence customers and clients
Retail Industry Experience required.
Good reasoning, detail oriented with a strong analytical skill set required.
Strong Computer Knowledge.
Good knowledge of MS Office products with strengths in Access and Excel required.
The knowledge of working with formulas, macros, databases, tables, queries and lookups is helpful.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
Well organized with the ability to prioritize and follow-up on open items required.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet rigid deadlines required.
Good communication skills (oral and written) required.
