Brownfield Site Fabrication Lead – Brunel , Qatar

About this role:
Determine, uphold and inspire safety, health, environment and quality performance for all brownfield construction and installation activities during the execution of the workscope via demonstrable leadership and compliance with all relevant safety, health, environmental and quality procedures and policies in order to promote a safe work environment;
Coordinate work in full compliance with COMPANY Standards of Business Conduct, Project Management System and Project Core Values and Procedures ensuring contractor capability to fulfill requirements and provide support as necessary to address identified gaps;Review and ensure CONTRACTOR execution plan, schedule and associated procedures for contruction and HUC are compliant with the Contract and Scope of Work, in particular in terms of safety, and will deliver the different assets as per the agreed schedule;
Liaise with the Project Management Team (PMT) and ensure alignment with PMT and COMPANY Operations on project execution plans, needs, objectives and requirements and in particular the priorities defined for EPCO execution plan;

Interface with other departments in Major Projects Organisation and Field Operation and ensure close collaboration to meet project objectives;
Provide Management a look-ahead of critical onshore fabrication and offshore construction activities to timely initiate the planning and the preparation of those critical operations with all stakeholders;
Supervise the brownfield onshore fabrication and offshore construction execution and adherence to the project schedule and critical milestones, and monitor contractor performance, effectively managing any changes to the scope through a robust MOC process; developing recovery/contingency plans, to address any delays, ensuring timing is in accordance with approved project schedule;
Direct all Brownfield onshore fabricated items onshore with zero carry-over works offshore and that offshore construction activities impact on Operations is minimised and timing of the workscope is in accordance with the approved project execution schedule, established priorities and aligned with stakeholder expectations;
Provide regular and efficient reporting with meaningful execution data (narrative, charts, graphs, KPIs, etc.) to give Management a good overview of the progress achievements and leading indicators towards meeting EPCO objectives.

What you need to bring:
Strong field and execution experience is a must, degree is optional;
Fifteen (15) years specific involvement in project execution with previous leading roles in BF Construction and HUC within an EPC contract execution environment including experience at both onshore and offshore facilities under SIMOPS conditions;
Additional relevant work experience may be substituted for technical education;
Good knowledge of Project Execution procedures and, field shutdown management and techniques including fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing and completions Technical and Business Skills;
Excellent spoken and written English skills;

Strong organisational, planning and prioritization skills;
Strong leadership, coordination and interface skills;
Good negotiating and influencing skills;
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
