Continuous Improvement Specialist – Energy Nawah , Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Description
Use lean six sigma analytical skills and implement them during project support execution in order to support the process improvement and boost the Lean Six Sigma culture across the Nawah Organization. Contribute in building a sustainable culture of Excellence across Nawah Organization.
Process Improvement
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Support execution of process improvement communications and work with Project Managers to ensure successful delivery of improvement projects.
Utilize the best practices in process improvement such as lean, six sigma and other quality tools to re-engineer processes to attain function objectives.
Develop, maintain and update the process improvement Toolkit to enhance success of improvement projects.
Analyze performance gaps in key process areas within the various functional elements under the Nawah management system to develop process improvement plan in order to improve the process efficiency.
Quality Training
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Support the delivery of Lean Six Sigma trainings and run quality process simulations on the use of quality methodologies and tools to build Lean Six Sigma capability within organization.
Coordinate all the communications associated with Lean Six Sigma training offerings to support the execution of the training program.
Budget Planning
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Contribute to the annual budget planning of Continuous Improvement Process to support department strategy.
Support execution of the budgeted items in annual bases to manage expenditures efficiently.
Excellence Culture

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Support the section head in carrying out activities to sustain the culture of excellence across Nawah organization.
Coordinate and support all External awards and accreditations activities and act as the focal point with Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) Business Excellence team to deploy award criteria and support the progress of Excellence culture.
Review the policies, procedures and processes related to Continuous Improvement Program and ensure that they are periodically updated and properly implemented.
Health and Safety and Security

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Follow all relevant company’s Health and Safety policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure compliance in all aspects of work as per sound management practices. Apply these policies and procedures to self and others to ensure reasonable care of the health and safety of the employee; the environment; and various individuals who may be affected by the employee’s acts or omissions at work.
Follow all relevant Security policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure security compliance in all aspects of work, by applying them on self, others and Corporate assets.
Ensure compliance with corporate requirements for adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to Crisis Management and Business Continuity in order to continue mission critical activities.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Ensure commitment to a culture of continuous improvement by eliminating waste, following operations procedures, practicing innovation, problem solving, and teamwork; complying with Quality Management System policies and procedures; providing and receiving constructive feedback, and striving to meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
