About the role:
We are seeking a Business Unit & Sales head for our Low Voltage Product business who will have the sales drive, strategic vision, and leadership to drive this growth for this excellent product portfolio.
The Siemens Electrical Products Business Unit combining the Low Voltage Products and the Control Products is built on a long history of expertise and technology, coupled with the global reach and brand strength of Siemens.
The Electrical Products business unit within Siemens is a highly dynamic team that works closely together across the region to drive the business via channel partners and explore new business opportunities with proven success and a promising path ahead. The Business Unit & Sales Head will lead a team and join an agile, creative, and highly engaged leadership team. The Position holder will report to the Lead Country Business Unit Head and to the Smart Infrastructure Head of Siemens Saudi Arabia.
As Business Unit & Sales Head you will be responsible for the overall management and Profit / Loss of the Business Unit in the country of Saudi Arabia, including overall management direction for the operations of the business, implementing business unit strategies and portfolio, long and short-term business plans to improve market share and to build up the necessary competencies and maximizing synergies with other units. The Electrical Products business is conducted through locally established Partners. In addition, you are fully responsible for any employee direct reports.

Your Role – International, Challenging and Future-Oriented!
Plan, manage and drive the business unit to achieve the financial business targets agreed with Lead Country Business Unit & Country Management; This will include drawing up and agreeing Business Target Agreements (BTAs) for the local Business Unit and New order planning in compliance with the Business Unit regulations.
Develop local business strategy for the Electrical Products business in Saudi Arabia, aligned with the Lead Country Business Unit Management and ensure implementation. These strategies could include defining target markets / segments and/or develop specific approaches to enter / grow in these market segments.
Maintain, develop, and intensify long term reliable relationships with the SI EP partners (panel builders, distributors, OEM’s) and their customers. Establish new EP partners if needed. Support, guide and drive the EP business partners pro-actively in their customer approach.
Implement a strong focus on the pull generation for the EP channel partners by maintaining a strong relationship with the involved stakeholders like contractors, end-customers, authorities, and consultants.
Show expert knowledge of the product portfolio and full understanding of the Saudi Arabia market, customer needs and partner activity, and use this knowledge to plan and forecast realistic sales and marketing activities to achieve business targets; Ensure effectiveness of marketing initiative after the events/actions. Maintaining the sales database, ensuring the quality of market data and trends. Consistent, realistic, and clear monthly forecasting is a must.
Observing and analyzing the market, competitors, partners, and customers, to use in management reviews, strategy plans and business forecasts.
Implement the price strategy in accordance with the EP Lead Country Business Unit price guideline.
Assessment and development of the regional sales competencies for your team.
Ensure implementation of employee development, succession, trainings, diversity, and human resource management programs within the business unit, e.g. Localization.

Your Qualifications and Skills – Digital and Solid!
Academic degree in Electrical Engineering or equal qualification from reputable university.
Experience from an international company operating in the Middle East
Experience in functional management of a small sales team.
Local with full understanding of market challenges.
