Design Product and Services Manager – Qatar Airways , Qatar

Job Purpose:
Responsible for implementing the UX strategy across all Qatar Airways’ digital platforms. Leading a team of designers and responsible to develop a human-centered design process that balances data, customer insights, problem solving and innovation to create frictionless end-to-end experiences for Qatar Airways customers.

Operational Accountabilities:
Create and execute a UX strategy for the Qatar Airways’ digital platforms including and the mobile app, championing design cohesion and consistency across all products and features, while continuing to foster a culture of innovation and invention.
Lead day-to-day creative and holistic design thinking across diverse product releases and teams; driving the direction, style, and methodology of design and accessibility.
In collaboration with key stakeholders, lead the UX efforts for Qatar Airways’ digital platforms, accounting for the needs of a global user base.
Partner with product owners and product managers to understand their needs and translate them to meaningful user-centric designs that provide a frictionless user experience.
Lead strategic design reviews and review deliverables from Designers and researches, as well as present deliverables to peers, product managers and high-level partners.
Oversee development of effective specifications and documentation of design patterns within the team.
Working with product managers and engineers to define the roadmap for their products across the customer journey while ensuring cross-functional collaboration and design consistency.
Partner with the research and analysis teams to identify opportunities for the creation of new products across the customer’s journey on and the mobile app, from inspiration, to exploration and engagement, all the way through retention.
Perform other duties as directed by the Management.

Qualifications and Experiences:
In order to be able to perform in this role you require the following:
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 6 years of job-related experience

Essential Experience:
-A portfolio of work demonstrating compelling design solutions and showing your ability to turn ideas into a holistic UX vision.
-Demonstrated experience in UX Design, Interaction Design or Product Design. -Management experience leading Design teams.

Preferred Experience:
-Experience working with Web Analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics.
