The College of the North Atlantic – Qatar is inviting nominations and applications for the position of Executive Secretary. Reporting to the Executive, the Executive Secretary must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support the department in fully implementing the College’s mission and vision.

Duties & Responsibilities:
This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will provide administrative and secretarial support to the Executive, and support the effective and efficient functioning of the department.

Candidate should have good secretarial experience dealing with higher-level management. Responsibilities include providing an efficient customer service to all visitors, maintaining the Executives appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, making complex travel arrangements, liaising between various staff through the college and arranging visitor’s itinerary, bookings, transportation and hotels.
Candidate will be responsible for preparing letters, documents and reports and transcribing minutes. Responsibilities will also include preparing invoices, cheques and requisitions for the Executive and ensuring financial transactions for the department comply with the colleges’ processes.

Education and Certifications:
Diploma is required in Administration Management or related field is required
Minimum 3 year of relevant experience in Administrative Support or related field
Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic language is required
Proficiency in writing official Arabic Correspondence is required

Other Required Skills:
A professional and friendly nature with pro-active attitude to work is required, strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritise work and manage time effectively is essential. Analytical thinking and problem solving is required. Candidate should demonstrate explanatory communication and interpersonal skills, fluency in English and Arabic language is required.
