Foundation Programs Director – Aramco , Saudi Arabia

Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join the Professional Learning Division (PLD) of the Academic Programs & Partnerships Department.
PLD is a corporate learning provider of choice addressing the academic, English language and business communication needs of Saudi Aramco trainees and the company’s regular workforce. PLD provides distinct learning programs and activities, including: the College Preparatory Program (CPP), Professional English Language Program (PELP), Business Communication workshops/programs, Saudi Aramco Talent Essentials Program, and college evening courses.
PLD also shares its expertise in the areas of human resource development (HRD), assessment and evaluation, communication skills, higher education, professional development, health, safety, and community service with both internal and external organizations.

Minimum Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration or other relevant degree; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 12 years of experience in College Preparatory or Foundation Year Programs, including at least six years in educational programs administration/supervision.
• A strong background in overseeing internationally recognized high school programs, such as A Levels, International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement programs, as well as standardized tests, such as IELTS, TOEFL and SAT.
• A thorough understanding of the admissions process/requirements for top global universities is also required.
• A thorough understanding of the differences between the different global educational and grading systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Lead the development, delivery, assessment, and accreditation of the highest quality learning interventions.
• Provide guidance and facilitate recommendations regarding curriculum and testing issues.
• Oversee research studies to ensure that learning interventions are commensurate with global best practices.
• Oversee the review and development of policies and procedures for academic and professional development programs, ensuring that learning interventions are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and business plans.
• Provide guidance and facilitate recommendations regarding curriculum and performance measurement issues.
• Provide expertise in the areas of HRD and professional learning, including: training needs analysis, curriculum design, and evaluation and assessment of academic programs.
