Create, plan and implement global sales strategy for the Business Line, define key sales target and establish appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance across industry segment, key accounts and channels.
Proactively anticipate and identify shortfalls in performance and take appropriate remedial action, drive top line growth. Strengthen customer experience by building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers in customer and developing new potential customer.
Plan and implement customer surveys and act on the results to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Participate in the negotiation of key global contracts, fully accountable for the P&L of the Business Line Sales organization, by ensuring strong cadence across 8 regions and 41 local sales units. Identify, and monitor sales market price levels in collaboration with product line managers and support local sales organizations to ensure achievement of sales volume, product mix target and profitability target.
Monitor client financial status and report any change regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams. Identify and manage potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels.
Develop, implement, and reviews sales processes and tools, and all related training and development activities. Ensure (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
Guide, motivate, and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, in collaboration with product line managers determine required capacity and skills of sales employees and invest in growing that capacity and capability.
Master’s degree or higher in Engineering Business or Economics.
At least 15 to 20 years of experience in tier-1 Sales, Service or Business Development including 5 years in a global or regional capacity and in-depth experience working with channel partners and / or channel programs.
Relevant experience in various industries but ideally in Oil & Gas, Chemical and Water sectors.
Experience in Emissions & environmental monitoring applications a distinct advantage, knowledge of the Sensing and Process Automation portfolio and its applications.
Proven experience in Sales strategy development, Sales Operations and implementation.
Good verbal and written English communication skills.
