About this role:
Lead , Data Operations
Act as the Data Lead in Digital project group organization accountable for COMPANY’s data identification, location and usage in Digital use cases;
Responsible for running efficient and stable Data operations (i.e. Digital Data Platform (DDP));
Ensures close alignment between COMPANY’s Digital use cases and the future IS vision and solutions as well as expected operational impacts on IS teams;
Maintain close alignment with the data governance, data architecture, data security and overall IS strategy and solutions;
Continuous collaboration with the various COMPANY business entities to ensure the data governance practices are applied on data repositories (e.g. Data Quality);
All COMPANY Enterprises Data (structured and unstructured) for more than 100 Data Domains, 650 Data Families and 100 Data Sources;
On premise and cloud data hosting;
Technical data solutions operations and supporting;
IS technical strategic direction and solution architecture;
Oil and Gas data for Production petroleum operations and subsurface data;
Data and Information Architecture, Governance and Master Data Management as well as Digital and Data Platform;
Support data and information security and controls implementation.

What you need to bring:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Information Management or Computer Science or an engineering/business related equivalent;
Deep experience in petroleum operations data and good understanding of the related data sources;
Full understanding of Data management (e.g. Data Lake/warehouse, Data Platform, Data Ingestion, MDM, ETL, Data Visualization ..etc);
Experience in database technologies and techniques (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, …etc);
Project management and Agile methodology certifications;
Able to make quick decisions and solve technical problems to provide an efficient environment for project implementation;
Awareness of data integration patterns, data modeling and data architecture;
Ability to work in Agile environment, and to regularly learn and adopt new technology;
Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization and work with diverse project teams;
8 years of experience in Data and Information Management/Governance for Oil and Gas Upstream operations is an advantage;
Fluent English both spoken and written;
Vendor management skills and ability to define and negotiate effective SLAs and service KPIs with vendors;
Extensive technological domain knowledge to understand integration of digital products with IT systems & architecture;
Good knowledge of the business to understand business requirements and implications on COMPANY operations.
