The College of the North Atlantic – Qatar is inviting nominations and applications for the position of Marketing and Events Section Head in the Marketing and Public Relations Department. Reporting to the Marketing and Public Relations Director, must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support the Marketing and Public Relations Department in fully implementing the College’s mission and vision.

Duties & Responsibilities:
This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will manage and deliver effective marketing programs for all Schools and Departments. To oversee effective event management and planning, and the design of the visual aspects of print and digital communications channels for CNA-Q, in order to ensure a clear communication of CNA-Q’s image and messages in support of strategic marketing and communications goals.
Candidates should have an outstanding record of industry experience in marketing or related field, and possess the qualifications necessary to be successful in the role of Marketing and Events Section Head. The successful candidate is responsible to support the development of the Marketing and Public Relations business plan and to contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures and processes. Responsibilities also include to manage the delivery of targeted online and traditional marketing campaigns. Manage and coordinate the design, development and production of all corporate and promotional materials throughout the college, also to collaborate with Departments to devise new and innovative marketing strategies.
Candidates will be responsible to develop and execute research-proven marketing strategies that contribute to the brand positioning development of the college and oversee the coordination of CNA-Q events and logistics to ensure the successful running of events.
The Marketing and Events Section Head will monitor and prepare reports on the revenue and expenditures of campaigns and events, to ensure budget alignment, and maintain strong working relationships with external suppliers, media and creative agencies to ensure a cost-effective service is provided throughout the college.
Candidates will provide professional development support and perform periodic performance reviews for direct subordinates to contribute to the development of employees and must have excellent organizational, leadership, decision-making, delegation and communications skills as well as the ability to act as a mentor to team members.

Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field required.
Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Marketing, Events, or related field.
1 years of managerial experience.
Fluency in written and spoken English & Arabic Language.

Other Required Skills:
Strong leadership skills with a desire to achieve organizational success and to lead by example is required. A proactive can-do attitude to work and good time management is essential. The candidate should have the ability to anticipate change and effectively manage quality and risk at all times. Effective resource management is essential. Commitment to positive relationship building and effective working relationships across all levels of the organisations is required. Technical knowledge of Marketing, Event Planning and Management and Branding Positioning is required. A Commitment to ongoing training and continuous professional development is desirable. Candidates should demonstrate explanatory communication and interpersonal skills and fluency in English language is required, Arabic language is an asset.
