You will be working as a Material Planner and will be part of Electrification Business Area for Global Markets Division based in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will be reporting to Lead Sales Operations Manager and will be responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory including sales in excess of invoicing from purchase requisition to customer invoice. Supporting internal customer service inquiries and set inventory parameters, inventory targets, and ensure adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders.
Segmentation and Safety Stock: Segmenting the portfolio of materials through an ABC/XYZ analysis, product lifecycle management and commercial policy. Defining inventory policies according to this segmentation.
Inventory Parameters: Calculating and maintaining the planning systems and the inventory parameters like safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead-time, and replenishment strategies.
Collaboration: Collaborating with buyers for obtaining the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery,minimum order quantity (MOQ), quality, lead-time, and flexibility.
Inbound Materials: Working with operations buyers and GBS to align planning of material with call offs and ensuring that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders.
Inventory Controls: Managing MRP (Materials Resource Planning) exception messages daily. Supporting cycle counting and/or year-end inventory counting. Conducting financial risk assessments decisions relating to inventory, root case analysis when necessary.
Inventory Performance: Analyzing excess and obsolete/aging inventory. Taking appropriate action for optimizing inventory performance, in collaboration with sales, marketing, manufacturing and procurement and logistics.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or any discipline of Supply Chain.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience as material planner role.
Candidate should have experience in Inventory management, calculation, planning for stock, manage lead time, trade of between freight cost.
Fluency in English language is must.c
