Job Description
Overview
The OCN Screener’s primary responsibility is to conduct thorough interviews and record reviews of Other Country National (OCN) personnel, referred to as Screening, as part of the Camp As Sayliyah OCN Screening Cell and functions as a resident expert for the implementation of appropriate regulations and standard operating procedures within ASG-QA.

Responsibilities
Able to follow requirements in accordance with ASG Screening Cell Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough interviews, produce subsequent reporting in accordance with ASG Screening Cell SOP, conduct background checks, and record relevant information in the required databases.
Demonstrated understanding of CI/HUMINT reporting mechanisms and proven ability to produce quality intelligence reports; able to identify and communicate potential threats, as well as, identify OCNs of an operational interest.
Available to conduct off post mission essential tasks.
Screeners shall attend unit-provided security training on or off the installation in order to ensure their safety and maintain the utmost security awareness while residing in the state of Qatar.
Available to operate outside the established work schedule window dictated by operational requirements.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with two (2) years’ working within a Department of Defense (DoD) or Department of Justice (DoJ) screening cell in the Middle East region with three (3) years’ experience as a certified interrogator, strategic debriefer, or investigator preferably with an intelligence focus. One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
Associates’ Degree with five (5) years’ working within a DOD or Department of Justice screening cell in the Middle East region with three (3) years’ experience as a certified interrogator, strategic debriefer, or investigator preferably with an intelligence focus.
Successfully complete the Preliminary Credibility Assessment Screening System (PCASS) certification at the first available certification offering, either in country or elsewhere, after being appointed as a Screener.
Experience
Possess a minimum of seven (7) years’ working within a DOD or Department of Justice screening cell in the Middle East region with three (3) years’ experience as a certified interrogator, strategic debriefer, or investigator preferably with an intelligence focus.
Skills
Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office software.
Interpersonal and communication skills are requirements of this position as there is constant interaction with military personnel.
Possess strong written and verbal communications skills in English
Able to react to change productively and handle essential tasks as assigned.

Other Requirements
This position works both indoors and out. During a large portion of the year this position will be exposed to extreme heat, sand and dust. Normal work week is 48 hours, 5 days a week. Must be on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This position requires flexibility in work hours.
