Operations Executive – Aramex , UAE

Key Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office including Excel, Access, PowerPoint
Ability to learn, explore, understand, and troubleshoot complex systems and integration setups
Ability to convey knowledge and provide training
Good communication skills – Working across multiple projects, communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively
A team player that can offer support to other team members and has the confidence to ask for assistance when needed.
Innovative and creative – developing new ideas that would take the business into the highest level of service excellence.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow up on shipments with the concerned origin stations from the time shipment is collected.
Ensure all shipments are connected on priority.
Discrepancies are to be reported to the concerned shift supervisor.
Perform weekly audits to ensure that there is no failure.
Knowledge of Customs clearance documentation requirements in UAE for imports and export
Handle the day to day customs clearance operations of the department
Accurate and timely customs processing for various types of shipments
Attend customer’s enquiry by fulfilling their requirements for customs clearance
Respond and follow-up customer calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
