The Product Specialist is accountable to promote products and services to customers, discover and pursue new sales prospects, negotiate contracts, and maintain customer satisfaction with the aim of maximizing profits.
Job Description –
Principal Accountabilities/Key Results Area:
Direct all aspects of successful sales for the Cardiovascular – Structural Heart products.
Conducting market research and analyzing market trends by identifying product improvements or new products and analyzing sales options.
Make helpful product recommendations and suggestions to customers in order to increase revenue.
Generate significant profitable growth through retention/further penetration of major accounts and acquisition of new accounts.
Establishing contact with new clients and maintaining relationships with existing clients by providing support, information, and guidance.
Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Performing product demonstrations to staff and customers and conducting training sessions when needed.
Answering customers queries with regards to product use and gathering feedback.
Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines and accounts.
Preparing yearly Budget and Marketing expenses with line manager.
Forecast Monthly and Quarterly figures in relation to yearly Budget
Coordinate with the Finance & Procurement Departments for the proper invoicing and purchasing, respectively.
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and maintaining accurate records.
Send weekly reports to the Line Manager
