You will be responsible and fully accountable for the delivery of the EPC Project in KSA, the role is encouraged to be based in Dubai arunage the project in KSA with 2 weeks per month and/or as required by End User. The role is also encouraged to work closely with the General Manager – META projects to grow the Energy Business in UAE and other META Territories.
The Project Director must have valid Energy Certifications and a track record of delivering large Energy EPC projects Globally or in the region.

Ensure the Project Team adheres to the high standards of Health and Safety management required by the Honeywell organisation, the Global Major Projects team (GMP) and our customers.
Maintain overall responsibility for the delivery of sophisticated projects to the required quality, schedule and budget
Deploy standard methodologies in the delivery and control of projects. Ensure the use of both GMP Management Operating Systems and standard Honeywell project processes and tools.
Manage the contractual requirements of the project to ensure Honeywell’s exposure is minimised and controlled through timely responses and internal escalation.
Advise the day to day and term planning of operations for the Project teams and functional Leads.
Developing trust and handle the relationship with customers in ensuring that an exchanged views of key issues between all parties is maintained.
Lead effective communications with all project partners
Lead all change management, delay (EOT) management and contractual claims and lead together with the Commercial-Contract Manager/Quantity Surveyor.
Define all subcontract/supply requirements and work with Supply Chain to ensure all subcontractor/supplier contracts and orders are appropriate for the project from a scope/cost and risk viewpoint. Lead or participate in negotiations as vital
Deliver to the financial objectives for the project and control billing and costs for the project. Drive project team to maintain Estimated Actual Cost at completion
Ensure the designed and installed solution is fit for purpose in meeting the project requirements with the lowest cost of delivery.
Coordinate the financial position of the project using Honeywell’s and GMP accounting systems. Provide regular and accurate estimate at completion of costs for the project.
Devise and implement risk management programs and ensure proactive risk mitigation strategies are implemented and communicated to management on a regular basis
Undertake detailed planning, scheduling and reporting of the project to run prioritization, avoid bottlenecks and adhere to early warning and intervention systems as detailed in the GMP Management Operating System.
Report to District General Manager (or District Project Leader), Region Project Leader and Global Major Projects Operations Director on project progress and relevant issues on a regular basis
Identify and pursue in conjunction with the account manager any further business opportunities with the customer. Drive and propose new variations.
Responsible for a project team of multi-skilled employees, including maintaining the project Safety Plan and EH&S responsibilities within the team. This includes overall responsibility for the project Quality Management System and auditing thereof.
Responsible for project based implementation of industrial relations policy as the need arises by contract and in alignment with overall regional Industrial Relations Strategy and labour law.
Drive the project team to minimise the cost of labour in delivering a successful project through the use of low cost resources while minimising defects and rework.
Facilitate the project team’s achievement of goals and objectives.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Information Technology – Crucial
Tertiary qualifications in Project Management are preferred
Valid Energy Professional Qualifications – Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) or equivalent – Crucial.
Professional Energy Accreditations is also a must – Crucial.
Over 15 years validated experience in project management including budget ownership/management, prioritisation, scheduling, forecasting and planning.
Shown project experience involving in Energy / EPC / ROI based Projects
Consistent track record to develop and lead multiple teams.
Capacity to deliver against multiple objectives.
Validated commercial/contractual acumen.
