Quality Superintendent – BEA SYSTEM , Saudi Arabia

Your Main Responsibilities
Establish and maintain close working relations with RSAF, MoDSAP & Contractor personnel.
Establish an accurate understanding of the Customer’s concerns and requirements, through regular and direct contact with RSAF and Base personnel.
Be familiar with the unit mission requirements, knowledgeable of the Maintenance and Quality Management concepts and understand the lateral functions of other activities.
Provide the QCFC with information regarding significant trends and results of inspections and assessments.
Manage all defined Inspections, Assessments, Evaluations, Investigations, TCTO First Time Compliance verifications, Aircraft Weight and Balance and Functional Check Flight briefings/debriefings as defined in RSAF Manuals.
Manage the Quality Management Assessments (QMA) of each Maintenance function to measure the compliance with RSAF Quality procedures and directives.
Manage the Engineering Assistance Request (EAR) process for Airframe repairs and for the resolution of other problems affecting aircraft systems, subsystems, components and equipment.
Be familiar with the Enhanced Change Management Process.
Serve as the primary technical advisory agency for Maintenance, assisting Production Supervisors, Superintendents and Management in the resolution of quality problems.
Be familiar with all Specialty positions within the department to ensure effective coverage of all Production Work centres.
Support RSAF Headquarters Maintenance and Engineering with the provision of timely answers, recommendations and Quality information on Aircraft and Support Equipment.
Conduct specific technical or project support investigations as necessary to support the above activities and to enable the evaluation of new data to clarify perceived problems in order to achieve the best end result.
Be able to resolve issues that fall outside normal technical processes and procedures through innovative and creative thinking.
Have the ability to review task performance against set objectives and to adapt / react accordingly.
Carry out counterpart training of RSAF Personnel.
Assess ePDR’s and implement suitable proposals for the career progression and development of BAE SYSTEMS personnel assigned to the QA department.

Your Skills & Qualifications
ESSENTIAL:
Incumbent should have at least 9 years aircraft maintenance experience in servicing, maintaining, repairing and performing inspection type duties on aircraft and equipment, including a minimum of 5 years’ experience on either Fast Jet or training aircraft with at least 3 years on Tornado or similar jet aircraft.
He will have at least 2 years experience employed within a Quality Assurance organization
Have completed a recognized course of training, or an apprenticeship, at a military or civilian school in Aeronautical Engineering or related technology.
Educated to Higher National Diploma level or equivalent in an Aerospace or Engineering discipline.
Proven man management, leadership and people development skills. Must be able to influence all levels of personnel to implement controlled process changes.
Experience in managing and implementing Audits as defined by the Quality Management System.
Experience in implementing continuous Improvement by using systematic techniques such as Brainstorming, Cause Analysis, Gap Analysis, Deming Cycle and other recognized Quality Tools.
Have firsthand experience in using manual and computerized records management, data collection and information systems.
Must have a thorough knowledge of Quality Assurance procedures as detailed RSAF Instruction 4-7166-1-3-1 and 4-7166-1-3-2.
Must be able to write clearly/effectively to a very high standard and communicate in depth reports/presentations to senior management across all levels within the RSAF and business
Be a skill level seven or higher, qualified on the assigned weapon system and associated support equipment.
Be fully knowledgeable in planning, scheduling and controlling resources.
Have first-hand experience in using manual and computerised records management, data collection and information systems.
Have direct experience in managing quality, conducting training and supervising people.
Have the ability to assess the effectiveness of procedural compliance.
He must possess effective facilitation skills in order to help Improvement Teams apply QM tools and methods.
Must have demonstrated a capacity for rapid and accurate fault diagnosis and have a thorough knowledge of RSAF Maintenance concepts.

DESIRABLE:
He must have a working knowledge of the Defect Prevention Programme and defect prevention techniques.
He must be able to identify the problem source by applying Root Cause Analysis techniques.
A working knowledge of Quality Standards such as ISO 9001 or AS/EN 9100/9110.
Experience in Risk Management and implementing processes such as FMECA
Experience in evaluating and reducing waste in processes using tools such as Lean
Understand and use the Maintenance’s GOLD System.
