Job Description
Policies and Procedures:
Follow and monitor adherence to departmental policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of Recruitment so that relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled
Searching for Candidates:
Coordinate with universities, recruitment agencies etc. to find suitable national candidates to fill vacant positions in the organisation
Manage the career website of the group including the addition of postings for vacant jobs and creating users for each recruiter in the business units
Manage the search for candidates through social media channels
Coordinate the participation of the organisation in career events to present the group and attract potential candidates
Process requests from departments and prepare for the recruitment of the requested talent after obtaining the needed approvals
Candidate Selection:
Conduct preliminary interviews with selected candidates for a behavioural evaluation and other assessments administered as required to screen applicants
Conduct a shortlisting of the pools of candidates, selecting the best-suited applicants for further interviews
Administrative:
Manage the preliminary on-boarding of employees.
Manage & follow up on the addition of new employees to the HR Development Fund program and ensure the best terms are obtained through negotiated agreements
Change Management:
Support the management of change through continuous recommendations for the improvement of Recruitment based on identified areas of improvement in dealing with governmental entities
Reporting:
Prepare periodic reports on recruitment activities, and on the number of selected national candidates versus the number of applicants Extract monthly incoming and outgoing reports from the system and to ensure business units are requesting or hiring replacements of resigned staff.
