Senior Officer-Budgeting & Controlling – Elm , Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

ROLE PURPOSE
The aim is to state the overall significance of the job from the organization’s perspective.
To contribute to the financial processes within ELM by managing the budget, banks relationships, and financial reporting activities in order to ensure accuracy of data and timely completion as per relevant polices and set standards.

Key Activities
Daily Operations
Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the Budget unit to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
Prepare reports of department/ section timely and accurately to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards
Financial Control
Participate in managing ELM revenue recognition activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with set policies and procedures
Participate in managing the analysis and reporting on all ELM expenses to ensure booking against the right Business Unit
Project Costing
Contribute effectively to projects costing process to ensure profitability and alignment with overall direction
Participate in project cost data entry in ELM relevant systems to ensure data is accurate and up to date
Ensure the profitability of each product/project according to the company policy.
Ensure quality control over financial transactions
Internal Reports
Generating monthly reports for all project/products according to company segments.
Financial forecasting
Coordinate and direct the preparation of budget and financial forecast from budget point of view
Audits
Contribute to the provision of accurate data to Internal and External Auditors in order to fulfill different needs and requirements in a timely manner
Policies, Processes & Procedures
Implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and provide instructions to subordinates/team members and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner
Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
Information Security
Ensure the compliance with all relevant information Security practices and standards to ensure data integrity and confidentiality
