Senior Strategy and Performance Management Specialist – Nawah Energy Company , UAE

Job Description
Conduct development, implementation and continuous improvement of Nawah’s Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Framework (Strategy, Business Planning and Business Performance Framework) and support the development of a uniform Nawah approach to performance measurement and provide guidance to institutionalize the approach. Continuously develop and maintain an understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) technology and architecture, and other methods of information delivery.
1. Conduct development, implementation and continuous improvement of Nawah’s Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Framework (Strategy, Business Planning and Business Performance Framework) including People, Process, Procedure, Programs and Tools.
Assess and analyse the performance of Nawah’s EPM framework (efficiency and effectiveness of the framework) and develop recommendations/proposals for the improvement of Nawah’s EPM framework
Collaborate with Head of Strategy and Performance Management and the CDV Manager for the development and implementation of the Short, Medium and Long term EPM framework improvement priorities and plans.
Manage and execute initiatives to improve Nawah’s EPM framework. This includes but is not limited to:
Strategic planning and strategic performance management frameworks, processes, mechanisms and/or tools to ensure focus, clarity and alignment within the organization, consistent with Nawah’s strategy
Business planning frameworks, processes, mechanisms and/or tools to ensure Nawah’s organization efficiently and effectively develops, resources, communicates and assigns accountability for its 5 year business plan.
Change control and change management processes, mechanisms and/or tools to ensure the Nawah’s Strategy and Business Plan remains current and subject to appropriate governance
Performance monitoring, reporting and analysis frameworks, processes, mechanisms and/or tools to ensure Nawah accurately, efficiently and effectively monitors, measures, reports, and controls its progress toward its near and long-term business objectives
Controlled documents that set out and institutionalize an effective, uniform Nawah approach to performance measurement, including the development of effective KPIs, target setting, documentation of KPI definitions, calculation methods and measures to ensure data integrity in reporting.
Initiatives to streamline, facilitate, and/or automate the management, measurement and reporting of business performance data, including potential business intelligence solutions
2. Support the development of a uniform Nawah approach to performance measurement and provide guidance to institutionalize the approach.
Manage formal periodic reviews of business performance and lead or track (as appropriate) implementation of indicated actions arising therefrom
Lead initiatives to streamline, facilitate, and/or automate management and reporting of business performance data, including business intelligence solutions
Partner with Program Management Office, ICT and vendors (as required) to support business needs
Effectively lead and manage contractors and project teams in reviewing, developing and optimizing enterprise performance management tools, systems and programs
3. Continuously develop and maintain an understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) technology and architecture, and other methods of information delivery
Support the development of a database and/or data presentation solutions to deliver information to end-users accurately and efficiently;
Analyze, understand, and document user needs to ensure accurate fulfillment of user requests from business customers
Contribute to, and lead, project teams that are developing or modifying highly complex information solutions.
Administer and maintain the BI Portal, data warehouse, and existing BI solutions
Continuously develop expertise in the data and data models within the data warehouse, as well as an understanding of supported business domains.
Develop training modules for new system users to ensure proficiency of use
Identify and assess key opportunity areas where data, analytics and science can enhance our business
Lead the design development and delivery of key measurement capabilities and strategic reporting initiatives in collaboration with business partners
Ensure data integrity by reviewing data to be used for report development, identifying and troubleshooting gaps and inconsistencies and escalating as required to foster a partnered approach to data accuracy for business reporting purposes

4. Health and Safety and Security
Follow all relevant company’s Health and Safety policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure compliance in all aspects of work as per sound management practices. Apply these policies and procedures to self and others to ensure reasonable care of the health and safety of the employee; the environment; and various individuals who may be affected by the employee’s acts or omissions at work.
Follow all relevant Security policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure security compliance in all aspects of work, by applying them on self, others and Corporate assets.
Ensure compliance with corporate requirements for adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to Crisis Management and Business Continuity in order to continue mission critical activities.
5. People Management
Contribute to the development of UAE National employees in a manner which supports the objectives of the corporation and its Emiratization strategy.
Contribute to knowledge dissemination/sharing in a way that assists with building internal capabilities of UAE Nationals where applicable and maximize their effective performance.

Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Engineering Management, Operations Management, or similar.
5 years of relevant experience.

Preferred:
– Industrial Engineers / Operational Engineering background
– Master degree in engineering systems management / operations management / performance management
– PgMP / PMP certified
– Background in Nuclear plants / Power Plants
