Summary:
The Media Networks Senior Systems Engineer will use their experience and expertise on the field of Contribution and Distribution Systems and technologies in leading and motivating the team to accomplish tasks and daily work.
In addition, you will be devoted to systems analysis, Activity Monitoring, implementing the preventive and corrective maintenance plans, taking part in the systems updates and upgrades and new solutions designs.

You will have expertise on:
Compression Systems and standards including but not limited to H.264, H.265, HEVC, LCEVC, AAC, JPEG XS, Dolby End to end baseband infra
Streaming Technologies and Protocols including but not limited to HLS, Low latency HLS, DASH, SRT, RTMP, ZIXI, RIST, CMAF.
Content Insertion and Triggering/Cueing including but not limited to SCTE-35, SCTE-104 – Knowledge of Virtualization, containers and Hypervisors including but not limited to Hyper-V, VMWare, Xen is an added advantage. – CCNA and CCNP certified will be an added advantage. – knowledge in project management is an added advantage
Closed Caption and Subtitling Standards including but not limited to OP-47, OP-42, CEA-608, CEA-708, DVB Bitmap, DVB Teletext.
Knowledge in Public and Private Cloud Services and Technologies including but not limited to AWS, Azure, GCP, Openstack.
Monitoring and alerts systems

Key Requirements:
Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications, IT, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
At least 5 years of working experience in TV broadcasting, or related field.
