About this role: Static Equipment & Piping Engineer
Prepare the weekly and monthly maintenance schedule, major overhauls and inspections to ensure accomplishment of all planned mechanical maintenance activities for the static equipment & piping in the plant in the most effective and efficient manner
Prepares daily and monthly incidents and maintenance reports relating to aspects such as failures, unplanned outages, shutdowns to monitor all these parameters, ensure deviations are rectified and maintenance activities proceed as per plan and compliance with company standards
To supervise corrective mechanical maintenance activities on all static plant facilities and pipes in order to minimize down time and decrease outage duration, and to ensure plant efficiency and maintainability. Determine required manpower and spare parts needed for maintenance works.
To supervise preventive and predictive mechanical maintenance activities on all static plant facilities and pipes as per manufacturers’ recommendations to ensure plant reliability and availability. Determine required manpower and spare parts needed for maintenance works.
In conjunction with the representatives of the Maintenance Planning section, define appropriate preventative maintenance schedules so that all static equipment and pipes are maintained in a condition that is fit for purpose and plant availability is maximised
In conjunction with the Materials Engineer, monitor stock and usage levels of spares, consumables and materials to ensure that items are available to meet requirements and that usage is consistent with budgeted assumptions.
Assists in the implementation of guidelines for technical evaluation on materials offers from vendors/suppliers to ensure they meet original/required specifications.
Ensure that materials, labour, plant and equipment is made available for the execution of projects so that all projects can be carried out in a timely manner according to the project plan.
Prepares reports on major inspections, unplanned outages, and failures on regular and ad hoc basis to ensure that top management are aware of the status and performance of the mechanical maintenance activities

What you need to bring:
Minimum Qualifications:
University graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum Experience:
7 – 9 years of mechanical maintenance experience preferably in a large oil and gas organization.
2 years’ management/supervisory experience.
In depth and expert knowledge of all plant static equipment and piping and general knowledge of plant equipment in general covering related industrial standards like ASME, ANSI, etc.
Ability to analyse the cost and benefits of different maintenance approaches.
