T21 Simulator Team Leader – BAE SYSTEMS , Saudi Arabia

BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

The T21 ATD Engineering Team Leader is responsible to the King Faisal Air Academy (KFAA) Maintenance Manager for the achievement of contractual Operational & Training capability targets for the T21 Flight Training Devices, Integrated Procedures Trainers, Egress Training Devices and Ejection Seat Training under the Level of Agreement 3 (LOA3) project.

The jobholder shall provide regular and ad-hoc Reports to Senior Management covering:
Weekly & Monthly utilization and maintenance activities
Availability, Reliability and Maintainability Data
Critical and Obsolescent item tracking
Failure Trend Analysis
The jobholder shall develop and implement policies to cover the following:
Tool control
Calibration control
Preventative maintenance scheduling
Unscheduled maintenance procedures
Document control
Site administration
Repairable management
Consumables management
Obsolescence management
Configuration management
Technical Query management
ITAR and Export Control
Safety and FOD

The job holder should meet the following:
Graduate of a military service, or recognized civilian organization flight simulator training course, or graduated from a recognized university with a degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
Have extensive post-graduation experience working within a flight simulator maintenance organization and of which must be at shift supervisor level.
Possess a thorough working knowledge of modern flight simulator technologies, and support with an emphasis on networked training devices.
