Department Profile:
The Human Capital Directorate invites applications for the position of Talent Acquisition Coordinator in the Human Capital Directorate. Reporting to the Head, Talent Acquisition, must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support the Talent Acquisition department in fully implementing the University’s mission and vision.

Duties & Responsibilities:
This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will assist with recruitment activities according to UDST’s recruitment plans and manpower needs and sourcing approach, with the aim to fairly recruit the right competencies to the right jobs within UDST.
The successful candidate will assist with the development of interview questions and assessment methods, provide support in conducting interviews and assist with the facilitation of hiring of the most suitable candidate and provide support throughout the recruitment processes by ensuring adherence to the workforce plan, in compliance with applicable laws and UDST’s policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will arrange advertising and upload vacant positions on UDST’s job portal and external recruitment sites to source qualified candidates. This includes maintaining a pool of qualified candidates for each position that is advertised / posted and perform candidate searches on various online platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Bayt.com, etc.).
The successful candidate will provide support with updating UDST’s website regarding openings and vacancies and ensure that the content reflects UDST’s employee value proposition, in coordination with the Information Technology (IT) Directorate.
Other key recruiting roles will be to provide assistance with the development of conditional job offers and acceptance/rejection letters, engage with candidates in a timely manner; assist with the preparation of reports and analysis on employee turnover data and provide support in initial / screening interviews with applicants, and liaise with relevant line managers to schedule further / next stage interviews, in line with the established policies, procedures and processes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining approvals and coordinating flights, hotels and all other arrival arrangements for interviews of selected international candidates to the University to ensure smooth entrance to the country.
The successful candidate will also coordinate with travel agents for arranging flights for all international new hires ensuring the employees arrive to the country as scheduled and manage last minute flight changes. This also includes coordinating with hotels for booking rooms for the international new hires until they are transitioned to UDST accommodations.
The successful candidate will coordinate with Facilities Directorate for arranging airport transfers and accommodations for the new international hires in compliance with UDST’s policies and procedures and coordinate with Talent Management for executing onboarding processes.

Qualifications
Education and Certifications:
Diploma in a HR or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in Recruitment
Language:
Fluency in written and spoken Arabic language is required
Fluency in written and spoken English language is required

Other Required Skills:
Highly motivated individual with strong work ethic, leadership skills and a desire to achieve organizational success. Demonstrates excellent time management, attention to detail, analytical thinking, decision-making and the ability to analyse data. A proactive can-do attitude to work, collaborative working and teamwork is essential. The candidate should have the ability to anticipate change and effectively manage risk at all times. Commitment to positive relationship building and effective working relationships across all levels of the organisations is required. A commitment to service excellence, ongoing training and continuous professional development is desirable. A commitment to be available afterhours when required. Candidates should demonstrate explanatory communication, interpersonal skills and fluency in English and Arabic language is required
