Job Description
The Temporary Administrative Coordinator for the American Heart Association (AHA) International Training Centre (ITC) is an administrative appointment reporting to the Dean or designate, School of Health Sciences (SHS) at the University of Doha Science and Technology (UDST). Collaborating with the Continuous Professional Education (CPE) Department, the incumbent provides clerical and administrative coordination for all AHA trainings provided by UDST.

Serve as primary liaison between UDST and stakeholders for AHA related matters.
Serve as the primary liaison between the SHS and (a) the American Heart Association; (b) ITC and Training Sites and (c) ITC and AHA ECC and Middle East Territory Director.
Serve as the primary liaison with all stakeholders for AHA program inquiries and concerns.
Provides the training network with updates including current information on AHA courses, science guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Provide oversight for the planning, coordination, scheduling and evaluation of AHA trainings provided by UDST
Maintain an accurate instructor roster that is compliant with AHA ITC accreditation standards.
In collaboration with the CPE Departments, identify and arrange for AHA instructors to facilitate trainings.
Support AHA instuctors to deliver AHA programs that includes providing them with required trainings materials and responding their inquiries and questions.
Conduct clerical responsibilities for the administration of AHA trainings for the CHS and for the CPE Department that includes:
Scheduling events and booking rooms for all AHA courses.
Ordering all materials and supplies required for the AHA trainings including Ebooks, Ecourses, exams and Ecards.
Preparing and distributing all correspondence for AHA events including welcome letters, course agenda, course materials.
At the direction of the CPD Coordinator, assist with the organization of stakeholder meetings, workshops, regional conferences, symposiums and other AHA community based public events and activities.
Provide oversight for quality assurance, adherence to AHA standards and guidelines, and the maintenance of accreditation records.
Establish and maintain an electronic documentation system for all AHA trainings that is compliant with AHA ITC accreditation standards.
Employ security measures for exams and Ecards.
Receive, archive, and distribute course completion E-cards to participants and training sites.
Review and document feedback from participants for all AHA courses taught through the ITC.
Prepare and submit annual reports and other reports as required.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor degree in a health-related field. Consideration will be given to applicants with a post-secondary diploma in a health-related with a minimum of three (3) years experience in related to the qualifications of the position.
AHA instructor status for a minimum of one AHA training disciplines. Consideration will be given to applicants who have the ability to certify within 180 days of hire and maintain instructor status in a minimum of one of the AHA training disciplines.
Preference will be given to applicants who have knowledge and experience in the AHA programs and operations

Proficient with writing reports and preparing presentations.
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organization skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Familiarity with international higher educational systems is an asset.
Fluency in English is required; Preference will be given to applicants who can speak and write Arabic.
