Job Description
The College of the North Atlantic – Qatar is inviting nominations and applications for the position of Temporary Covid-19 Contact Tracer in the VP Academics Office. Reporting to the Health & Safety Environment Specialist, the Covid-19 Contact Tracer must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support the VP Academics Office in fully implementing the College’s mission and vision.

Duties & Responsibilities:
This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will, work with the College’s Occupational Health and Safety Officer and Public Health officials, to provide referrals of infected/exposed cases.
The candidate will notify all close contacts of their exposure to COVID-19 and arrange testing for them on campus and complete telephone interviews of COVID-19 cases and their contacts.
The candidate will also initiate prompt communication with people exposed to COVID-19 through text, phone calls, email, and other communication platforms as necessary.
The successful candidate will be responsible to accurately document information in COVID-19 contact tracing forms, and concisely conduct data entry into department data systems while adhering to all CNAQ’S data entry protocols. Furthermore the candidate will provide advice and guidance to CNAQ Employees/Students on self-isolation and quarantine procedures outlined by MoPH and comply with College of the North Atlantic – Qatar policies regarding the security and confidentiality of personal information.
Furthermore, the candidate will assist with the development of current protocols, operating procedures and occupational health and safety matters in the department as appropriate.

Qualifications
Education and Certifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences or related field is required
NEBOSH certificate or knowledge of infectious disease.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Language:
Fluency in written and spoken English & Arabic is preferred

Other Required Skills:
Committed to working Flexible schedules between 10am-8pm 7 days a week and comfortable working independently from home.
Good organization skills with a high standard of professional integrity. A proactive can-do attitude to work and good time management is essential. The ability to think analytically and solve problems and good attention to detail is required. Commitment to positive relationship building and effective working relationships across all levels of the organization is required. Knowledge of basic coronavirus disease transmission. Commitment to ongoing training and continuous professional development is desirable. Candidates should demonstrate explanatory communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
