Training Lead – Qatargas , Qatar , Doha

Job Purpose
Lead the formulation and execution of the Corporate Annual Training Plan based on competence assessments, appraisal analysis and business needs

Key Job Accountabilities – I
Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget estimates for non-technical Training include the monthly monitoring and reports and provide required recommendation and support to Head of Training and Education. In addition, monitor and review the accrual and variance analysis, prepare periodic reports on training costs and statistics to ensure training expenditures are within budgetary limits.
Coordinate and support the review of the organization-wide Behavioral competence gap analysis data with the Competence Development and Performance Management Division to determine priority group/departmental training needs to be addressed. Lead, review, and develop Qatargas Training Catalouge.
Provide support to establish the required Training contract and monitor the training contract implementation and progress review. In addition, monitoring and implement procurement processes / forms for all training activities.
Provide support and guidance to the Training focal person in Training & Education team on all tasks related to training activities including training contract, training materials, management processes, training evaluation, training design, training analysis, etc.
Plan design, develop, and deliver appropriate learning interventions for all employees to suit the identified training including develop Training Curriculum/ Catalogue, etc.
Advice and review the required design, customize, resource and facilitate approved in-house training courses as maybe assigned by the Training & Education Head and recommend external courses, when necessary, to address training needs.

Key Job Accountabilities – II
Develop a detailed plan for the development and delivery of training and training materials. In addition, monitor the progress of the training delivery and training evaluation and provide / implement the required recommendation.
Formulate and implement standards in sourcing and monitoring the quality of external and internal training providers and consultants to ensure quality training is provided to address various gaps of staff. In addition, monitor and evaluate the internal and external training courses’ delivery, development and application of suitable evaluation instruments, feedback analysis in order to submit valid reports and recommendations.
Provide the required support to Head of Training & Education for any projects / activities / system related to Training and development as required.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or Industrial Management.

Knowledge and/or Experience
8 years varied experience in human resources development preferably in the oil, gas or petrochemical industry including 3 years in a supervisory role.
