BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

The function of the Ground Support Systems (GSS) Consolidation Administrator Supervisor is to the GSS Manager for the management and delivery of all Typhoon GSS Administrator consolidation activities to the RSAF, PC and Saudi National employees. Ensuring compliance with all governance requirements of the Operational Framework including; ITAR, LCM, planning, monitoring, change control, and reporting of the Salam Operations contract performance to meet both customer and business requirements for GSS related consolidation activities. To ensure effective management of SHE and Quality Assurance across all GSS related activities, including compliance with all related regulations, policies and procedures

Establishing a strong working relationship with the Taif and Riyadh Training Support Delivery Teams to ensure training issues are raised and supported in a timely manner to maintain the effective delivery of the GSS administration consolidation.
Design, prepare, formalise and manage the delivery of a consolidation activity syllabus to cover all aspects of the GSS Administration role.
Management and delivery of all Typhoon GSS Administration consolidation activities associated with the delivery, mobilisation and maintenance of all GSS installations in support of RSAF Typhoon operations at main operating bases and KSA based deployments.
Recording individuals progress and reporting to both senior PC and RSAF management.
The management of individuals GSS Administrator log books, ensuring that both are current and complete.
Produce reports and presentations to provide any required management Information covering all GSS administration consolidation activities.
Attend Salam Training Integration Meetings as required to present all GSS consolidation activity progress.
Participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the system infrastructure and consolidation environment; Ensuring that system hardware, operating systems, software systems and related procedures adhere to qualified processes within the organisation.
Support project teams with technical issues in the design, planning, initialisation and rollout of solutions to provide GSS capability to the Salam organisation.
Installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of system hardware and software related to the GSS Operational infrastructure to be utilised in support of GSS administration consolidation activities.
Supports technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the GSS.
Ensure that all GSS system hardware, operating systems, software systems and related procedures, adhere to qualified processes within the organisation.
Work with UK teams and suppliers to maintain high levels of customer service.
Manage, record and report on the mandated business and technical related training for PC and PC SN GSS employees.
Reporting on subordinates performance in accordance with the PDR procedures with annual and six-monthly formal reviews.
Accountable to the GSS Manager for meeting all set GSS SA consolidation activity targets.
Accountable to the GSS Manager for the delivery associated with GSS SA consolidation activities and compliance with the Salam QMS.

Ideally educated to bachelor degree level in a relevant computer science or engineering discipline.
Extensive proven experience within the field of Operational IT, Infrastructure management and service delivery in respect of GSS.
Have completed a recognised Instructional Techniques course and have at proven experience in course design/training delivery.
High level of interpersonal skills, able to co-ordinate a number of activities and the ability to communicate, influence and direct decision making.
Relevant GSS hardware qualifications (Fujitsu, NetApp, Cisco).
Relevant GSS software qualifications ( MS Windows, Oracle, AIX).
Aircraft data management experience.
TeamCenter experience.
IMS experience.
trilogiView experience.
WDMS experience.

Extensive experience in the management and delivery of training activities, focused on IT systems and their administration.
Extensive experience in systems installation, setting to work, commissioning and customer acceptance of IT systems.
Understanding and application of the LCM processes.
Change management of IT systems.
Configuration and baseline management of IT systems.
Leadership, delegation and team building skills for the effective people management.
Maintenance of inter-team dependencies across suppliers and customer boundaries.
