Digital Transformation Specialist – Commercial Bank Of Dubai , UAE

Job Purpose:
The Digital transformation specialist will actively support in process improvement, modernization and transformation programs by leading one or many work streams. Responsibilities include creation of current and future state value stream views of end to end processes, process walkthrough, data gathering, data Analysis and problem solving/continuous improvement using various lean six sigma tools and techniques.

Principal Accountabilities:
Perform Diagnostics on identified end to end business process(s) to establish the area of improvement, define problems and propose solutions.
Perform Project Planning to develop the necessary assets to perform a project such as Project Charter, Project Plan, Communication Plan, Steering and Working committee groups, stakeholder list and the list of all tools that may be required to accomplish the identified process changes.
Perform the necessary project management activities such as effective Program Management, leading work stream(s), design thinking workshops and Stakeholder management.
Communicates clearly to keep all stakeholders and project members abreast of the progress of a project and manage expectations of stakeholders and overcome any conflicts by effectively engaging them in a timely way.
Liaise with different units within the bank to develop, implement and sustain solutions. Implements measure to monitor the main KPIs for solutions implemented for projects.
Manage and monitor the business process development, documentation, update and maintenance activities relating to CBD’s business processes and related metrics.
Effectively work with the technology organization to implement the identified digital solutions to ensure realization of business benefits.
Actively seek new and leading technology/digital solutions to continuously improve and modernize the business processes.
Contribute towards implementing the Operational Excellence (OE) Program/standards and driving the OE culture and mind set throughout CBD.

REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:
Finance, banking, accounting, business or risk management degree or qualification.
Green Belt or Black belt in Lean Six Sigma and PMP
Last 5 to 7 years’ in a change/ digital transformation/operational excellence role.
Excellent understanding of Banking Products and supporting digital technology solutions gained from hands-on experience in banking based operational and change-related roles
