1. Contribute to the achievement of the strategic objectives of the IT Design Solutions through performing own responsibilities and managing direct reports performance.
2. Set the IT Solution Infrastructure Design goals and objectives and ensure the cascading of such to reporting sections, and guide their achievement.
3. Contribute to the development of the sector’s Design and Development policies, procedures and processes through providing input as advised by the direct supervisor.
4. Provide direction and advice in leading strategic projects and task by directing all staff reports in performing their delegated responsibilities.
5. Ensure effective identification, allocation and utilization of the division’s resources.
Lead and manage the planning of new IT platforms and solutions
Oversee solutions design of new IT platforms and solutions and ensure its adequate possibility of integration with current in house systems
Understand current capabilities and integration among all established systems and platforms.
Write RSD for new solutions
Review service requirements and technical design to ensure its alignment with the enterprise architecture and high level design
Lead and manage the planning, design and delivery of new IT platforms and solutions for Mobily’s needs guided by the objective of operational efficiency.
Lead and manage the development of high- and low-level design, testing and implementation of new solutions and services so as to derive the requirements and to ultimately provide competitive services to internal customers.
Lead and manage end-to-end solution designs multiple application domain development units to meet business needs and customer requirements
Review service requirements and technical design to ensure its alignment with the enterprise architecture and high level design.
Manage multiple project initiatives, providing project structure, resourcing plans and driving project delivery to ensure that the software development specifications and schedules are met.
Ensure that individual objectives, training and development plans are in place for all direct reports and hold feedback and appraisal meetings as per the agreed frequency to achieve high performance standards.
Plan the budget with the respective teams from the Operations and Business departments.
Ensure the communication with different departments to resolve conflicts and to keep work flows operating smoothly.
Act as a focal point for the security and network requirements with the respective teams related to the deployment of new systems.
