The College of the North Atlantic – Qatar is inviting nominations and applications for the position of Program Analyst in the department of Information Technology (IT). Reporting to the PeopleSoft Development Supervisor, the Program Analyst must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support the department of Information Technology (IT) in fully implementing the College’s mission and vision.

Duties & Responsibilities:
This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will develop, support and maintain PeopleSoft and other related College business IT systems and to ensure maximum utilization of CNA-Q business processes. The incumbent is also responsible to provide regular technical support for the College’s PeopleSoft systems, resolve technical issues by identifying problems and recommending solutions, and generate queries and reports to ensure end-user requirements are met. Furthermore, the candidate will also be responsible to document procedures to configure, maintain, upgrade, test and code the College’s PeopleSoft systems.
Candidates should have an outstanding record of industry experience, and possess the qualifications necessary to be successful in the role of Programmer Analyst. The successful candidate is responsible to provide support in the maintenance of existing PeopleSoft modules, and ensure the system is used effectively. Responsibilities include assisting with the designing, implementation and development of new modules and module updates in line with stakeholder needs and organizational requirements.
Candidates will assist departments and users in scope development during planning sessions to assess, analyze and plan for future PeopleSoft system needs. They will also assist with the deployment of IT business systems by participating in the design, evaluation and testing processes and, conduct regular maintenance in line with ITIL standards and the College’s IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and uninterrupted system operation.

Qualifications
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field required
Master’s degree preferred
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in PeopleSoft development.
Language:
Fluency in written and spoken English language, Arabic is an asset.

Other Required Skills:
The successful candidate should possess the ability to communicate with non-technical end-users and members of interdisciplinary teams. Overall, strong communication and interpersonal skills are required. The candidate should demonstrate a good understanding of education technologies that are designed for the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting and delivery of services at the college.
A strong commitment to meet and satisfy the needs of internal and external stakeholders and, the ability to anticipate and manage change effectively is essential. Effective time management & organizational skills, the capacity to establish effective working relationships across all levels in the organization, and a strong commitment to working in a team environment are essential. Effective analytical and problem solving skills are required.
