Executive and Professional Education Program Manager – Georgetown University , Qatar

Requirements
This role is a term position based in Doha, Qatar and offers no relocation assistance. GU-Q is looking only for locally-based candidates who hold a valid Qatar residence permit.

Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for coordinating all financial, operational, and administrative matters within the Office of Executive and Professional Education (EPE);
Support the planning, delivery, administration and follow-up associated with the successful execution of professional and executive education programs;
Support business development activities of the office;
Serve as primary point of contact for the Office of EPE to internal and external customers, clients, offices, and departments, including faculty and students;
Work closely with the Director and client to determine the scope of non-core programs (e.g. dates, basic course outline, speakers, accommodation, travel arrangements, etc.)
Support the development of program-related collateral materials and upload course materials onto applicable course management tool;
Liaise with other GU-Q departments, faculty, guest speakers and external vendors to confirm deliverables of program;
In collaboration with the Travel Office, coordinate accommodation and travel arrangements;
Serve as focal point for the duration of program, liaising between the client and GU-Q support units (such as Events, Communications, etc.) to ensure smooth delivery;
Perform administrative duties as required by the program such as raising tickets for and liaising with IT, A/V, Facilities and HSSE and prepare financial related forms as needed;
Provide support to Faculty-initiated events that involve an external audience to ensure consistency in the delivery of high-quality events and to ensure that the appropriate external audiences are engaged;
Coordinate off-site activities, including field trips, extracurricular activities and meals.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree;
4+ years’ experience in providing administrative support to academic/educational programs;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Ability to multi-task, organize work, and maintain a high level of confidentiality;
Strong command of the English language, both verbally and in writing;
Prior experience in business development an asset;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM database tools;
Arabic language skills preferred.
