Infrastructure Facilities Planning Engineer – Aramco , Saudi Arabia

Position Description:
IFPD’s responsibilities include conducting long-range planning, land usage and area master planning, residential community master planning, and engineering feasibility studies.
The Facility Planning Engineer’s primary role is to conduct feasibility studies for major additions/upgrades to infrastructure and capital projects.

Minimum Requirements:
As the successful candidate you should a Bachelor degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering or other related qualification from an accredited university. A Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.) license or registration would be desirable but is not essential.
Twelve years of experience or more in performing economic evaluations and feasibility studies, and in preparing budgetary approvals.
Thorough knowledge of engineering practices, economic principles, calculation methods, design details, U.S. and Aramco Codes, Standards and Specifications.
Possess excellent written and oral communications and technical presentation skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
The successful candidate conducts feasibility studies on major building and Industrial Support facilities and long-term business-related strategies including investment and master plans.
Assists in the technical development and economic justification of Capital Programs and Budgets.
Perform technical and economic evaluations of existing and potential new facilities or equipment.
Prepare scoping papers to define capital projects on building and Industrial Support facilities which are the basis for project proposals.
Review project proposals with Project Management to ensure economic design and conformance with Design Basis Scope Papers.
Interface with Operating Organizations, New Business Development, Engineering and Project Management.
Prepare expenditure requests to obtain project funding.
Direct Saudi Aramco’s optimum land usage and area master planning.
Review and coordinate Land Use Permits (LUP) for Saudi Aramco and non-Saudi Aramco lands.
Prepare and make presentations to Corporate Management.
Provide full time consultation to Saudi Aramco management and other organizations.
Coordinate Saudi Aramco Traffic Engineering Planning and Saudi Aramco Area Planning Committees.
Mentor the training of future Facilities Planning Specialists.
