We are seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to join the Capital Program Efficiency Division (CPED) of the Project Management Office Department.
CPED is responsible for supporting the Corporate Objective of maximizing profitability through the efficient and effective management and governance of the enhanced Capital Management System (CMS).
The Process Improvement Engineer’s primary role is to support CMS framework governance, development and implementation to maximize capital efficiency; performing analytics on projects and benchmarking data, for continuous Capital Efficiency processes improvements in all project life cycle from planning to startup; improve the predictability of capital projects through performance monitoring in planning and execution phases; ensure provision and continuity of the CMS Process change management; and enable support to the Corporate Objective through developing and delivering onboarding programs. As well as supporting the evaluation and due diligence of joint venture, subsidiary, and affiliate capital delivery systems.
As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Engineering from a recognized and approved program.
You will have nine years of experience in oil/gas and refining fields (preferable experience in project management or design if possible.

You must have knowledge of calculation methods, design details, US/Aramco Codes, standards and specifications
Knowledge of KPI development and management of change is a requirement
The professional certificate for Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) and Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred
You will be fluent in written and oral English
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Leads and recommends new continuous improvement solutions to improve existing capital delivery systems and processes, by collaborating with subject matter experts.
Advise on readiness and performance of projects in planning/execution phases, through the analysis of challenges and opportunities encountered by projects.
Support project delivery through project planning phases as an advisor. Recommend the revision and development of processes, systems, and procedures related to Capital Efficiency.
Support Capital Delivery by reviewing benchmarking analysis to determine levels of performance improvement.
Support change management activities and all associated work (such as: communication, onboarding sessions) for improved processes.
Analyze the projects comprehensively and holistically (technical and commercial), as well as monitor performance KPIs to determine the level of capital efficiency and advise recommendation.
Support the review and due diligence on the efficiency of the capital project delivery processes for the company’s joint ventures, subsidiaries, and affiliates, to determine — for each JV/subsidiary/affiliate — the role of Company involvement.
The Engineering & Project Management (E&PM) business line studies, plans and oversees the construction of the Company’s new facilities, including some of the biggest and most complex projects in the petroleum industry. Recently, Saudi Aramco completed the largest capital program in its history that included new or expanded oil, gas and petrochemical facilities, raising maximum sustainable crude oil production capacity to 12 million barrels per day and significantly increasing gas production and processing capacities. Among the recently completed projects was the largest crude oil increment in the history of the industry: Khurais, with a production capacity of 1.2 million barrels per day. More challenges lie ahead, with a slate of new or expanded oil, gas, refining and petrochemical projects in the works. E&PM also manages the Company’s Research & Development Center where scientists investigate topics such as the desulfurization of crude oil, advanced fuel formulations for next generation combustion engines, and reservoir nano-scale robots (Resbots™) for injection into reservoirs to record their properties.
