QC Engineer / Electrical – Al Falak , Saudi Arabia

Job Description
He shall adhere to the approved ITP’s and shall coordinate closely with the Construction Manager and the Project engineer for inspection requirements.
He shall conduct inspection with diligence in conformance with the applicable Standards and Procedures. If satisfied, he shall raise RFI.
He shall advise the site Foreman & Project engineer of the inspection requirements & standards for compliance at the commencement of activity.
He shall create quality awareness among the craftsman.
He shall assist the QA/QC Supervisor in compiling the inspection records and in preparation of test packages and MCC packages.
He shall be familiar with Company’s Quality Plan & Policy.
He shall coordinate with subcontractor (Testing Agency) for test and inspections, follow up for test reports & submit to client for review/approval thru lead QA/QC Manager/supervisor.
He shall inspect the material prior to use, for its conformity with approved specification.
He shall be responsible to conduct stage inspection as required by the approved ITP.
He shall be responsible to inspect the equipment deployed for its condition & fitness.
He shall be responsible to ensure that all test /measuring equipment or devices are calibrated and in current prior to use.
Identify and advise the QA/QC Team to initiate non-conformances report (NCR) for non-compliance activities observed against the approved quality plan, inspection test plans, relevant to engineering standards and applicable national and international codes and standards etc.

Coordinate, arrange and participating the material receiving inspection at site/store along with the store keeper, discipline inspector and
SAPMT/NAPIS
representative, if applicable.
Conduct internal inspection for ongoing activities and recorded the inspection findings in the internal inspection logbook, follow up with project engineer and construction superintendent in order to ensure that the ongoing activities are complying with the standard requirements.
Attend weekly projects progress meeting, discuss the ongoing projects execution and inspection activities

Skills
Associate degree, preferably Engineering (Electrical, Electronics and Communication,)
Experience Minimum 5 years
Familiar with ISO 9001 2008 standards.
Previous experience in the construction industry
Excellent people and communication skills. (verbal and written)
