You will be working as Service Sales Engineer and will be a part of the Motion Business Area for Service Division based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this role, you will be reporting to Service Sales Manager and you will be accelerating and expanding Motion service business in UAE and getting ABB to preferred position with end users, based on quick and reliable support, digital tools etc. You will be building long term customer relationships and managing resolution to specific customer needs and issues.
Preparing growth-oriented sales plans using company tools. Implementing the sales plan with complete ownership. Performing regular status reviews and proposing recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.
Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promoting customer understanding of full product or systems or services offering, and aligning to provide a solution. Ensuring a positive customer experience.
Prioritizing maintenance activities at site and support with partner workshops, if job cannot be performed at site.
Ensuring that all related activities meet legal and ethical compliance requirements are in accordance with overall company policies and procedures are conducted with employee safety as a priority and are aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Mapping complete Installed base (IB) to ensure that more than 95% of installed base is allotted to site and Service level agreements are signed with major accounts.
Developing Service Channel Partner review and corrective actions. Performing energy audit or appraisals MOSE portfolio to promote energy efficiency sales pitch and generating leads using the concept. Developing innovative business model with authorized workshop partner to support long term service agreements.
Promoting drive workshop and following the sun concept to enhance connected devices in the region. Organizing customized technical events to improve ABB’s acceptability with end users. Developing innovative business model with authorized workshop partner to support long term service agreements.
Promoting a culture that embraces continuous process improvement, personal accountability, teamwork and customer service to achieve objectives and improve operational productivity and customer relations. Exhibiting the ability to effectively work simultaneously on many priorities that change frequently.
A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Required minimum 6 years of experience as a service sales engineer for motors & drives services.
Previous engagement and customer relationships experience with major government end-users entities and COG (Chemical, Oil and Gas) customers in the region is an advantage.
Strong technical expertise in selling service agreements and digital solution background is preferred for the role.
Arabic language would be an added advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
