What are my responsibilities?
Develop and update the program plan for execution and implementation at detailed level, monitor program duration and progress, and take corrective actions.
Develop and update project detailed schedules for the program (metro project) with help of Level 3 summarized schedule to control lots scope i.e. Rail Electrification, Signaling and Communication, Rolling stock, Platform Screen Doors and Depot Workshop Equipment.
Coordinate and resolve long-term and short-term planning and scheduling issues, risks, and concerns within the team and with contractor organizations. Act as technical consultant when required.
Apply EVM (Earn Value Management) i.e. L3-L4 progress template using physical quantities in project progress calculations, invoicing calculations, and forecasting.
Update equipment / material quantities in L3-L4 progress template with approved drawings support.
Initiate site visits, verify actual ongoing activities in accordance with the plan, and ensure the target dates are not being impacted.
Monitor daily progress report for the project, ensure progress and constraints are reported correctly.
Implement and update S-curves to monitor progress (actual vs. plan and forecast).
Prepare look ahead schedule as per Client/Company requirement.
Attend meetings with Client, Consultant, and Vendors & Contractors and follow-up the action points from the MoM (Minutes of Meeting).
Evaluate the effective and appropriate planning and scheduling information collected from project teams or sub-contractors, compare to approved plan / sequence and recommend corrective actions when required.
Interface with consortium partner to check project interfaces and concerns, and follow up actions to close issues.
Maintain integrity and quality of the Level 4 detailed schedules.
Use effective communication, coordinate with multiple subcontractors and site Managers and incorporate the information gathered into the schedule.
Inspect the project site upon several work stages for verify proper site coordination as per the schedule and target contractual dates.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Saudi National only
Minimum 2-3 years in construction projects and installation for various subsystems
Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related course
Experienced in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office
Preferably with Certification as Scheduling Professional by the Project Management Institute (PMI) or/and with other equally globally recognized Professional institution
Experience in the following projects is a plus:
Rail and metro
Bridges and building structures
Highways and infrastructure
Project Management
Planning and Project Controls
Quantity Surveying, Contract Administration
MEP
