Technical Sales Support Specialist – ABB , UAE

You will be working as a Technical Sales Support Specialist and will be part of Electrification Business Area for Global Markets based in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will be reporting to the Technical Sales Support Manager and will be responsible for supporting the local sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and prepare technical descriptions of the applied products and technology to support the proposal process.

Your responsibilities
Sales Support: Offering technical advice and providing comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/sales engineers about ABB products/systems/ applications. Providing technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations and negotiations.
Visiting channel partners regularly to check the ArTu K assembly is manufactured as per ABB type tested design.
Performing Pre-FAT/stage inspections and following the checklist as prescribed in work instructions (MDB/SMDB/MCC/Cap Bank etc.)
Following up inspection comments till satisfactory completion.
Visiting site(s) and supporting NCR related issues.
Checking the project submittal drawings to verify the selections are meeting ABB type tested solution.
Preparing technical letters for project/distribution sales request.
Preparing the site visit report after the site visit
Diagnostic Studies: Performing analytic and diagnostic studies for determining the most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs. Proposing technical solutions for complex enquiries.
Presentations: Preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues.
Training: Offering product/solution/service-related training.

Your background
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering.
Minimum 1-4 years of experience as sales support for electrical products like switchgear breakers, switches, capacitor banks, isolators, control products etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
