Job Summary
Responsible for greeting all guests at the door and seat them at their tables. responsible for maintaining a positive, fun, and clean atmosphere at the front door, maintaining a wait list with accurate wait quotes, and completing opening, closing, and additional duties, as specified by management
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Diploma in Hotel Management or related fields is preferred.
Minimum experience of 2-3 years in similar jobs.

Required Skills
Good communication skills in English, preferably Arabic as well
Able to work professionally under pressure and stress, especially during busy hours
Capable of long hours of standing workload
Maintaining a good pace of work
Works together as a team and is a team player
Fulfilling any reasonable requests asked by the manager or the supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities
Make eye contact and smile at every guest who comes through the door
Prepare for the specific needs of the shift by: Reading the communication board for important daily feature and shift information
Anticipate seating needs and options before the guests arrives
Check reservation logs and prepare for large party reservations
Make themselves available to all guests – never leave the host area unattended. When on a wait offers;
Seating in lounge area and/or menus and keeps guests informed
Follow procedures on quoting wait times
Take ownership of the guest experience. As guests depart, solicits feedback. If there are negative issues informs manager immediately of all guest complaints
Represent the restaurant image at all times by Accommodating all seating requests
Being aware of the physical atmosphere of the restaurant, which includes but is not limited to music volume, room temperature, and cleanliness
Maintaining a positive attitude and friendly disposition
Representing ready availability to the guest through body language by always facing the front door with a welcoming smile and not leaning
By being calm and in control of the greeting and seating of the guests
Interact verbally with guests at the front door and on their way to tables
Fulfill the guest experience by Welcoming the guests,Thanking guests for choosing us,Inviting guests back
Ensure the first and last impression of the restaurant is positive, clean, organized, and friendly
