What will you do?
You will be assisting Zain in developing and maintaining new revenue streams through monitoring VAS systems and platforms such as (SMS, RBT, MCN, Parental, Location base system, VM ,Roaming system, VOIP, MNN, USSD, EVD … etc.) and providing needed technical support and modifications to keep it up, healthy and optimize it’s performance, in addition to participating in developing, testing, and launching these services to provide customers with the best experience, while cooperating with internal and external parties to achieve this objective.

Your main responsibilities will be:
Administrating and Maintaining VAS systems and platform.
Implementing modification/ updates/ or expansion plans on VAS systems.
Negotiating and discussing technical specifications of required services with vendors and assisting in Request for Proposal (RFP) preparation.
Maintain updated knowledge of DevOps latest tools that will be used to enhance the functionality and performance of VAS systems.
Implementing scripts to extract information and/or automate tasks by using bash scripting, python or any other tools.
Implement configuration changes on VAS Linux/Unix based systems.
Testing the new VAS as per Zain’s policies and procedures, guaranteeing their proper functionality as well as ensuring their compliance with the set requirements.
Cooperating with Marketing function during the design and development of a new VAS.
Preparing comprehensive reports including statistics and data that reflect customer behavior, services demand, and market need in order to be utilized by other concerned functions.
Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor.

What Do You Need to Qualify
The suitable candidate should fit the below requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science.
