The purpose of the job is to drive and deploy the Operational Excellence (OE) program in Alghanim Group. The individual is a trusted advisor, responsible for overseeing OE including but not limited to, supporting in the management and reporting of metrics, coaching and mentoring of belts, leading White and Yellow projects, provision of analyses and insights into the effectiveness of business processes.
Support the in OE team in the execution of end to end operational analytics & process excellence initiatives and programs to promote and build an OE culture and mind set. The focus will be creating and implementing change management plans that minimize resistance, maximize engagement and drive faster user adoption to Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Projects.
Help the teams provide solutions to complex business problems where analysis of situation requires an in depth of organizational objectives.
Facilitate, coach, mentor and drive to completion Kaizen events, best practice sharing and various other facilitations as necessary. Simultaneously lead and manage multiple improvement projects.
Set goals and objectives. Provide metrics inputs to various reporting decks and dashboard; provide leadership with periodic updates on process and progress against targets, communicate key performance indicators to stakeholders in support of business objectives.
Advocate change, work with project teams to identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns. Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success.
0-2 years of hands-on experience in deployment of OE, leading and managing projects with outcome focused deliverables. White Belt Certification is required within first 3 month. Yellow Belt Certification is preferred.
Successful completion of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and relevant business experience
Strong interpersonal, verbal, written communication, people management and organizational skills. Persuasive and credible presentation style in order to influence all levels in the organization. Arabic is required.
Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment with strong influencing and negotiation skills.
Proven track record for attention to detail, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines as well as the ability to proactively identify, conduct dive deep analysis and implement effective innovative solutions.
Proficiency with relevant project tools (MS Excel, Visio and Minitab) – User level. Project Management is a plus
