The engineering organization is pursuing an engineering test manager responsible for ensuring our products meet and exceed performance targets you develop to position Honeywell Productivity Products as an industry leader.
Use your engineering management experience to provide hands-on leadership developing and maintaining engineering validation programs acting as an advocate for quality within the organization. You will work under limited supervision and alongside some of the world’s most talented engineers. You will bring value through industry leading quality and performance to Honeywell’s rugged computer, barcode scanner, and industrial printer product lines within the Productivity Products business. You will rely on your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals while working within a global technical team.
Initially this role will be based in Fort Mill, SC with the potential to move to the Greater Charlotte area in the near future.
YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or engineering technology field
Experience managing a team of test engineers and test technicians across supporting electronic product performance evaluation
8+ years of overall experience in quality assurance or engineering test and verification for embedded and portable electronic products
Significant prior success advocating quality engineering as a practice and driving testing strategies in a larger organization
Extensive experience developing engineering test strategies that tie product life cycle back to new product performance requirements
Engineering design experience and six sigma certification
Experience working cross-functionally with groups including software developers, electrical engineers, mechanical engineering, quality assurance and product managers
Experience with HALT/HASS process development a plus
Experience with automated testing tools, software development and testing methodologies.
