The van salesman primary objective is to deliver sales fundamentals of distribution, merchandising, shelving and pricing at the market place for the assigned territory outlets; thus achieving his section monthly volume & value set targets.
Defines and develops his van territory coverage plans per set agreed daily journey plan
Implements the GTRC 4 sales fundamentals ; distribution , shelving , pricing and merchandising per assigned territory
Updates his supervisor with the requested reports accurately and on-time; i.e., competitive activities, distribution and pricing studies, daily sales reports. Etc.
Uses and places available point – of sales materials properly and effectively
Ensures the products stored in his van are in good condition and in the appropriate temperature, and any factor(s) affecting the quality of products should be reported immediately to his supervisor
